How to be more organized

It’s so frustrating when you’re disorganized, whether at work, at home, or everywhere. Being disorganized means you lose things (or at least misplace them for a little while), and you can easily miss deadlines or get things mixed up, and although that doesn’t always result in a disaster, it certainly can do.

That’s why it’s so much better for you and everyone around you if you can try to be a little (or a lot!) more organized in your life. That’s not always an easy thing to do, especially if you’ve fallen into the habit of being disorganized and you tell yourself it’s just how you are, so there’s nothing that can be done, but it is possible. Read on for some useful tactics that can ensure you become more organized.

Create A To-Do List

It’s such a simple thing to do, but it can work wonders – create a to-do list. This list needs to include everything you have to do (hence the name) in a certain time frame; you could pick one day, a week, an hour, or whatever is going to help you the most. The last thing you want is for your to-do list to make you stressed or you’re not going to be able to focus on what you’re doing, so you do need to make sure the list isn’t an impossible one – that might take some time, but with practice, you’ll get there in the end.

To help you get through your to-do list, you might want to find ways to stay focused, which could include meditation before you get started, listening to music as you work, or enjoying Delta-10 THC to ensure you don’t get distracted and you’re not stressed about the work that has to be done. Once you see how much more organized you can be when you follow your to-do list, you’ll be happy to make one every time you’ve got a lot to do.

Delegate

What happens if you make your to-do list and you realize there’s no way you can get everything done? One option is to focus just on the most important and/or urgent tasks, but if everything is important and you really don’t know how to prioritize, then there is something else you can do – you can delegate.

There’s really no reason why everything you have to do is only on your shoulders, and by asking other people to help and take on some of the tasks for you, you’ll free up time to focus on the rest of your list and you’ll be able to do things more productively and to a better quality because you’re not overburdened. You can ask friends and family to help, but you can also hire people to do some work for you, and it really depends on what needs to be done, your budget, and what you feel is most important.

Prepare The Night Before

If you find yourself rushing around every morning to get ready for work or anything else you need to do, and if you find yourself stressing about what to cook for dinner – plus anything else that has to be done – then you’re sure to be feeling out of control and disorganized.

The key is to prepare everything the night before so you can start the day in the right way. Lay out your clothes, get your bathroom items lined up to use, make your breakfast in advance (if possible), chop up and prepare the ingredients for dinner, and so on. If you can do that, the day will go more smoothly, and you’ll feel so much more on top of things.
